The Beeghly and OhioLINK catalogs contain information about the print books available to you. The Beeghly Catalog will also contain links to our ebooks. Get more out of the library catalogs with the catalog how-to.
While all of these ebook collections are available in the catalog, the catalog will only search the title, summary, table of contents, and subject headings for your topics. If you want to search for your topic in the entire text of the book, you need to go directly to the ebook databases.
HathiTrust and Google Books allow you to search the entire text of millions of scanned scholarly books for your topic. You cannot read the book in HathiTrust or Google Books, unless it is in the public domain (usually pre-1923), but once you find a book that has your keywords in it you can then try to find it in the catalogs.
If you know of a book you want but cannot find an available copy in OhioLINK, use the Interlibrary Loan form.
If you cannot locate a book, use the Interlibrary Loan Forms. A librarian will locate a library that owns the material and will send for what you need.
Use this form to send for books, media, government documents, dissertations, etc., that are not available through OhioLINK and SearchOhio.
