Finding Chemical Structures, Properties, and More

SciFinder Scholar

SciFinder Scholar has a wide variety of search options for chemical information in the left column, such as chemical structures, properties, reaction structures, and more. Access to these special searches is in the column to the left of the default search bar.

First-time users will need to register an account with SciFinder using their Heidelberg email. This must be done on whole on campus. After you have registered, SciFinder can be used off-campus.

Reference information on chemical structures, and properties, molecular formulas, reaction structures, and more. Also indexes and provides full text for scholarly journals in chemistry.

Each individual user must create a SciFinder account using their Heidelberg email in order to have access. Registration can only be done one campus. After registration, users can access the database off campus.
