Evaluating Gold OA Journals

Just like any scholarly journal, the quality, peer-review standards, and reputations of Gold OA journals can vary greatly. Check for information on how journals select the works they publish and what their peer-review process is like. Also, while the it is not without its critics, you can check this list of very low quality or fraudulent publishers maintained by Jeffery Beall, a librarian at the University of Colorado Denver.
