This guide lists starting points for locating information on music. For more resources, please consult the Library's homepage or consult a reference librarian for assistance.

Find Music

These two databases contain streaming music, including recorded live performances, that the library has purchased.

The library catalogs allow you to find music on physical media (CDs, records, etc.)

In the Beeghly/OPAL catalog, change the Material Type menu underneath the search boxes to Musical Recording to filter out everything but music.

You can also limit to musical recordings in OhioLINK by opening the advanced search and using the Sound Recording menu under the search boxes.

All of these websites host or search for free music online.
